Dubrovnik will get its first multiplex cinema by the middle of next year. In the business-residential complex “Dvori Lapad” in the Lapad suburb of Dubrovnik three 600 seat cinemas with 3D technology will open by June 2011. Igor Oppenheim, chairman of Ingra, the company that built and operates the complex, and Hrvoje Krstulović, board member of Blitz-CineStar signed an agreement that will allow the opening of the new cinema. Apart from the new cinema there will also be restaurants, cafés and a supermarket in the complex. For visitors to the cinema there is also an underground garage with parking for 180 vehicles.
