According to the website index.hr the Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will visit Dubrovnik this July. Apparently Putin has been invited by the Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor to attend the Croatian summit which is held in the first half of July in Dubrovnik. The Office of Public Relations of the Croatian government could not confirm, nor deny. “The president of the Croatian Government during her official visit to Moscow urged the Russian Prime Minister to attend the summit in Dubrovnik” reads their response. It seems likely that the Russian Prime Minister decided to accept to visit this summer and to spend several days enjoying the Croatian coast. Last year in Dubrovnik the Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt and the Deputy U.S. Secretary of State James Steinberg both attended the summit.
