The Festival of St. Blaise will be celebrated for the 69^th time in New York on the 14^th of February by the New York Dubrovnik Club. Various generations of former citizens of Dubrovnik who have lived in New York for many years plus representatives of the City of Dubrovnik, guests from Croatia and the local community will celebrate this special day in the Harvard Club. Thanks must go to Dubrovnik artists, craftsmen and gallery owners who with great generosity have donated valuable works to the humanitarian auction. Last years auction raised 27,000 Kuna which was donated to the Dubrovnik children’s home and the home for the elderly. Under the sponsorship of the Croatian Ministry of Tourism and supported by the City of Dubrovnik and the Dubrovnik Tourist Board a presentation will be held on the 12^th of February entitled “Welcome to Croatia – Welcome to Dubrovnik”. This event is aimed at American travel agents and in previous years has caused great interest.
