The golf company “Razvoj Golf” have announced their support for Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor for possible amendments and improvements to the Law on Golf. The recently released law is not in accordance with the Law on Physical Planning and Construction. “We propose a working meeting with the prime minister and ministers in charge of it in order to discuss the current experiences and new proposals and we hope that we will be joined by other golf investors. It is desirable to create an effective framework through which the state could encourage projects of vital importance for the further development of tourism” commented the company in an official statement.

plus i think the changes that are being proposed by investors for the benefit if the investors. I think the outcome of this will be more onerous toward the investor and not a fair and reasonable law.
there is a basic conflict of interest.

it should not be called a law on golf. Projects such as golf and others that require large pieces of land should be identified in the urban planning law, regarding acquistions of land that is zoned a particular use.
calling it a law on golf is silly and immature, and goes to show how stupid we are to the outside world...golf is not a game of national importance... Croatians are not scots or english.

Yes, a Law on Golf does seem a little strange seeing that neither Scotland (the home of golf) or England have such a law
