In the wake of previous successful experiences, Pelješac wines are again this year, opening the doors to their basements in order that wine lovers can taste their young wines. On the 5th of December the “Day of open Pelješac cellars” will be an event not to miss. Apparently 2009 will be remembered as a good vintage so this will be an excellent opportunity to try wines including the famous Pelješac Mali Plavac. The tour of the vineyards will include Jurisic, Bartulović, PZ Dingač, Matuško, Kunovka, Grgic, PZ Putnikovic and Milos. The tour will begin in Ston in the Ducal Palace with the presentation of winemakers from the Borough of Ston. “The day of open Pelješac cellars” will be concluded in the restaurant Villa Koruna in Mali Ston. The organizers are the Croatian Chamber of Economy, Dubrovnik County Chamber of Commerce, Chamber of Crafts of Dubrovnik-Neretva County and the Association Mali and the Dingač and Pelješac wine route.
